In collaboration with code4libTO, SLA Toronto is happy to be hosting a 3 hour, skills intensive workshop led by Nicole Forsythe of Critical Mass. This workshop will give you a foundation for understanding what UX design is and how to approach it. Please note that this event has only two ticket tiers – $35 for all regular attendees, and $25 for unwaged/student attendees.

Workshop learning objectives:
– Gain an understanding of what User Experience is, its value, and how it is applied across industries
– Gain a foundational understanding of the UX process and key deliverables that UX designers create
– Learn to evaluate and prioritize business and user requirements in the design process
– Develop skills in the use and application of UX activities through a hands-on interactive exercise
This event is BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). You will need to bring your own laptop and sketching materials (sketchbook, notepad, pencil and pen etc).
