SLA Toronto is Looking for a Programming Director

SLA Toronto is a vibrant Special Libraries Association Chapter that supports all types of information professionals in Toronto and around Ontario. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and engaged member who is interested in coordinating the delivery of events to our community. SLA Toronto’s philosophy with respect to our educational events is to provide interactive learning experiences across a range of topics for people at all levels of their career. SLA Toronto also hosts the occasional social event, to promote community building and networking between Toronto info pros and their colleagues and friends.

The ideal candidate can be someone who has previous event planning & coordination experience, or someone who is interested in gaining that type of experience. As a member of the Executive Board, you will participate in decision making about Chapter activities and strategic goals. You will work with a knowledgeable and supportive team of Directors to execute your duties in the Programming role.

Join us in building the professional community that you want to be part of! Please contact me, Leah Strudwick (president @ toronto.sla.org), or any Board member, with comments, questions, or to throw your hat in the ring. We look forward to hearing from you.
