Description:

Join SLA Toronto and the First Five Years Team at the iSchool (BL728) for an engaging discussion about post-MLS career experiences!

Attendees will hear from a panel of five information professionals as they look back at their early career experiences and discuss what they wish they knew when they were first starting out in the job market after graduating from library school. This year we will be focusing the discussion around what it means to have a varied career path and what it might look like trying to find that first job, and how that may include working a number of contracts or a couple jobs at once.

We will be updating with more information about our panelists soon!

When: Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Where: 140 St. George Street, Faculty of Information, BL 728
Cost: $10 SLA members | $20 non-members | $5 students/unwaged/retired
Registration closes: Wednesday, May 9 at 1 pm
